As Topic #1 in this forum, here's a good trivia question for your buds when you're back at the bar with several of your favorite beverages:

You're sailing or motoring down the coast. Where in the US can you find five consecutive inlets which all begin with the same first letter? What are their names in the correct order from north to south?

I'll let you stew / ponder over that for awhile and will post the answer at a later date (if Old Timer's Disease doesn't kick in <G>).

It has now been three months since I posted my question about five inlets in a row which all begin with the same letter. No takers. Apparently none of y'all fish the NC coast. Beginning at Cape Lookout, there's Barden's Inlet right by the lighthouse. The next inlet south'ards is Beaufort Inlet at Morehead City. The next one is Bogue Inlet at Swansboro. Then there's Bear Inlet on one side of the USMC gunnery range followed by Brown's Inlet on the other side adjoining Onslow Beach.[b]
