When I visited it in 2008 it was undergoing a complete overhaul and promised to be a great place to sail out of.
Unfortunately it had minimum live aboard slips.
I was very unfortunate in that I lost my outboard leaving because the moulding on my stern came off and i did not have my safety line attached.
I know the manager and the maintenance guys are very considerate and very friendly, not to mention very helpful.
I hope the municipality review its policy on live aboard for temporary visitors. I normally visit for three months at a time.
