Return to Milford Landing

Wonderful marina. Far enough up the river that there is very little boat traffic day or night even though the town docks are on the opposite bank. The docks are set up so that it is very easy for novice boaters like us. There are several restaurants and coffee shops within 2 - 3 blocks. The dock staff are very courteous and helpful. The showers/bathrooms are clean and laundry machines were reasonable priced. There is an ice cream parlor on the edge of the marina. Upon arrival they provide a large welcome packet about the town, upcoming events and which local stores offer discounts. It is a great stopover going up or down the Connecticut coast.

Milford landing is a "gem" of a marina, and the closest one to all the great restaurants, bars and shops. It is a great place to paddle your kayak, or watch the ducks and swans swim by. The staff is extremely helpful and friendly, and the heads/showers are very clean. On the weekends in the summer there are often bands that play in the park across the water which you can enjoy from your boat. After dinner you can treat yourself to ice-cream at Scoopy Doo's which is right on the property. Simply just an enjoyable place to visit.
