It was nice to be informed ahead of time that we would be on a float instead of a mooring. We appreciate the use of the truck for provisions. Sorry we missed the tour of the shipyard.
Sorry, I can’t recall his name, but the guy who showed us to our mooring was super nice and answered our questions. The condition of the mooring ball and painters were best we’ve ever seen. Our stay would have been better if we received a map of town, pamphlets, etc. when we picked up the mooring ball. The showers and bathrooms reminded me of ones at a well worn out public camp for kids... not what you’d expect when you pay so much for a mooring... $148 for one night? That was not the advertised Dockwa price, and we were not in the 2 night minimum time frame.
Was great to have the dock crew meet us at our mooring. They were very courteous and helpful.
The dock staff was great helping us get our 43’ sailboat tied up in strong cross winds and a heavy current. The ships store staff helped us retrieve some digital installation instructions for our new ice box compressor and helped us properly recycle the old one. We had guests join us at the Outrigger Restaurant for dinner, the food and service was great... lobster mac and cheese as well as soft shell crabs were amazing. WIFI was solid, showers were very clean and comfortable.
