There were no showers. The launch driver was kind enough to check on this for us. But, apparently, the Harbormaster shut them down. Both launch drivers were very courteous and helpful.
Dan was courteous and helpful on arrival. Facility is clean and spacious. Would like to return.
The staff is super eager to treat visitors well. The location is ideal. It is well-protected from weather and convenient to all needs.
Staff was courteous and helpful. Location is very good relative to Newport waterfront. Short walk to get there. Not too close to the hustle & bustle. Restrooms, showers and laundry were clean but very cramped and not up to the standards (as to size) for a world class facility such as this place.
The dock is very conveniently located, the harbormaster staff was very cordial and the sweet town is very conveniently located. However, $3.00 per foot to dock with no amenities at all (no water, electricity, showers, etc.) is a bit high.
Vinnie the laUnch driver was courteous and helpful. Disappointing that showers & wifi were not available.
Staff was very courteous. Bathrooms & showers were clean. Pump out boat came on time as requested. Very convenient to both New Bedford and Fairhaven.
Pilot's Point is a first class marina. Staff provides excellent service. Good restaurants are nearby within a nice walk. When mechanical help is needed, they are competent, caring about your wish to get back on the water as soon as possible. Access off the Long Island Sound is so easy and close, yet the marina is well protected no matter from which direction the weather comes. I could say more good things. But you get the picture.
Our recent visit was only for one night, but we will gladly return. The gal at the gas dock was welcoming and very competent. The facility was clean. The other customers on the dock were friendly. We love the town and all it offers. We look forward to returning.
The club is extremely impressive. The facility is world-class. The service was extremely courteous. The food was delicious. However, we were assigned guest Mooring #6 which is fairly far out near Long Island Sound. So we did a lot of rocking and rolling. Other guest moorings were available and not in use that were closer in. Also, we were not advised in advance that there would be a substantial additional charge in the dining room for the use of our reciprocal yacht club privileges. We have visited many yacht clubs and never experienced such a significant charge. There should have, at least been some prior notice of this charge. We were not advised until the bill was presented.
