Very friendly, accommodating staff. Launch service is excellent and the Mariners’ Lounge with its new facilities is wonderful. It was disappointing that ice was no longer available at the Harbormaster’s offices.
Good facilities, including a loaner vehicle, and friendly staff. The marina’s pump-out was out of service but the staff arranged for Royal Flush to come by and give us a pump-out. We were disappointed that the access to the Marriott Pool and pool-side bar had become much more expensive since my last visit to Wentworth-by-the-Sea.
Well located marina, close to downtown Salem. Mike was extremely helpful. Facilities need some TLC. Best to approach or leave at mid-tide as depths at low water may be challenging for boats with drafts greater than 5 feet.
Hawthorne Cove was much easier to access than in the past - plenty of depth close to the transient dock. The docking procedure was facilitated by an e-mail from the marina and being guided in by a boat . Facilities are good and there is easy access to downtown Salem.
Convenient to downtown, decent facilities and easy to access. My one negative, it is expensive .
The staff were very helpful and understanding when we arrived with an overheating motor problem. They assigned us a mooring that was easy to access and convenient for the repairs. The launch was good but expensive. However, the showers at the Harbormaster’s office are a disgrace to a town of Edgartown status. They were free but I would be willing to pay a fee for cleaner facilities.
We were moored outside the breakwater and despite fairly calm weather, we endured an uncomfortable night with the fetch coming into the harbor. Showers at Vineyard Haven Marina are reserved for customers who have slips and those available to mooring customers are at the Harbormaster’s Office, and they leave a little to be desired. The launch service was good but a little sporadic in the late evening.
Informative e-mail sen out prior to arrival. Very friendly staff who helped out in difficult docking conditions. Good facilities - showers, wi-fi. One negative is the distance from “downtown” Onset - about a 15-minute walk.
Pulled up a mooring to have lunch - delightful, easy to access
Fairly congested and busy marina with motor boats queuing to use the boat ramp. Convenient to restaurants and supermarket. Very good toilet and shower facilities. Excellent hints by e-mail on what to do and see around Sandwich from the Marina management. It would have been better if we had received it a day or two before our arrival.
Good launch service, welcoming club house that was convenient to downtown
Although we had reserved a mooring, we were given a slip. We were also unaware that the marina closed at 4 pm - we arrived with about 15 minutes to spare. Facilities were good and the staff was very friendly.
