TOP NOTCH!!! What an amazing Yacht Club with incredible history. The entire staff is extremely friendly and knowledgeable. Excellent indoor or outdoor dining and bars. Top notch food and service. The amenities are 5-stars. We had an amazing stay on a mooring in the outer harbor (I could see this as being rolling in certain wind conditions). We'll be adding Larchmont YC as a port-of-call whenever cruising the Long Island Sound. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED
A very family-oriented Yacht Club with a beautiful Clubhouse. Excellent launch staff that makes sure you're all setup with clean pendant from the mooring ball. No bar, and on our visit the staff could not sell ice or water to non-members. The mooring field could be a little rocky due to the powerboat traffic. Large, extremely clean showers are available. Grills are available for visiting yachtsmen. The membership made everyone feel very welcomed. Launch service offered to a neighboring Rowayton YC where you can find some very nice local restaurants withing 0.5 to 0.8 miles.
A beautiful, quite and peaceful Cove. Great mooring no noise from any towns. A true gem to stop at if you plan to wine and dine on your boat. We will diffinitely be back here on future cruises.
This is always an awesome harbor to visit. Plenty of great restaurants and shops. Dog friendly town with a great beach and park to walk. The launch drivers are always extremely pleasant and accommodating. Don't always expect the Yacht Club's bar to be open, but rest assure there are plenty of watering holes within easy walking distance. We were fortunate enough to have the pleasure of stepping up to the Port Jeff YC bar and meeting a Past Commodore who is trying to have the bar opened for reciprocating yacht club visitors. He made some great Dark & Stormys. Many cruisers comment on the showers being outdated; while this is true the facilities are very functional, clean and a welcome amenity. Ice is always available. This is always a fun Port-of-Call for our us and those cruising with us.
