The young lady dock attendant stayed late to help me secure and she ran my power cord. I have stayed here before and enjoyed it too. I think the electric could use an update. Update 12/11. Thank you for your response. It's nice to know reviews are read. I look forward to the new docks! I'm sure the crew will remain top notch!
The marina was pleasant but could have used some more cleats on the finger pier and dock. I did not use any of the shore facilities as I went as far as it took to plug in my electricity, back aboard and went to sleep. The manager came down to see if I needed anything, all was set by Dockwa so I said goodnight. I left at 7 am.
I requested a slip close to the facilities. Upon arrival I was told to "take any slip on H dock". I couldn't tell how many slips were open and I hadn't seen a dock attendant yet, I took what appeared to be the first open. Thid dock is equal distance from either of facilities. I was told to come to the dock office to sign in once I was secured. They closed at 5. I walked up without shower gear to make their time. When I asked what to sign he said Dockwa had covered it and handed me a slip of paper with #s of gates, shower, phone to office and wifi that didn't work. There was no place to sit in the shower/head room. I'm handicapped but not in a wheelchair. The handicap shower stall had no seat (fold down) to shower nor one to dress. I couldn't tie my shoes until I saw a cart in the hall used by maintenance. I single hand my boat. I could have gone down the row of slips on the chance of finding one closer but the sun was setting, I'd been running all day and having an assigned slip with an attendant waiting would have been more like I would have appreciated.
From first contact the staff was pleasant, knowledgeable and accommodating. Upon arrival and slip assignment I explained I was single screw and single handed and requested the T head of dock, "No Problem" was the reply. The ship's store was well stocked and the showers/ head were very clean. The big plus was my neighbors across the dock.
