The marina retains its honky tonk flavor, but you can sense that there have been some needed investments to improve the facilities. If you are looking for a quiet spot to tie up your boat and get to bed early, this is not your place, but if you enjoy the energy of your fellow boaters, Champlin's remains he best.
Very nice marina with an excellent staff of dock hands. The location is ideal in terms of storm protection and immediate walking distance to the charming town of Port Jefferson. There is also a fine restaurant at the marina. There is also a fuel dock.
This marina offers a full range of services for transients. The dock staff was super friendly and helpful. They have a tender that can take you into town if you don't want to walk. Our stay was short, but sweet!
