Great marina. Stayed first night on mooring, then one night on the dock. The new face dock is in excellent condition. The crew (especially Tom) were very helpful and informative (Tom gave us a list of local restaurants he recommends). Only negative is the fuel docks are down (fuel available at Point Independence Yacht Club). Onset Harbor is a great stop over point and Safe Harbor Onset is a great marina (even better if you're a Safe Harbor member).
Moored. Great view of the city. Ground tackle was in great shape. Didn't go ashore, but Island looked like it would be a great stroll. However...VERY rolly during the day due to the ferries. Quieted down after 10 p.m. Also, if the departure from Logan, it will be nosiey from 05:30 until late. A local told us the mooring field at Peddocks is much beter.
Great place to lay up. Everything you need within walking distance (groceries, chandelry, laundromat, Dunkins, pizza, erc.). Staff was great, friendly, and helpful. Especially the pumpout crew. The docks are in great shape. Only thing keeping a five star review is the showers are cramped with little privacy (they are seperate from the bathrooms).
Great place. Launch service prompt. Includes club house with great bar and view.
