Exactly as advertised, well-maintained moorings. Helpful prompt directions via VHF 68 once I was in the harbor. Bridles were too short for my vessel so I just used my own mooring lines as extensions. This is a working port so don't expect a scenic retreat; the ferry to Bridgeport announces its departure with a long blast and three shorter ones to indicate astern propulsion. If this doesn't wake you from your afternoon nap, nothing will. But it's a practical stop, particularly in a southerly blow or if you need to get the LIRR train to NYC.

Great mooring stop. Attentive staff. Clean facilities on site and excellent shopping within 12 minutes' walking distance. Be aware that the laundry machines require 8 quarters each and detergent is not provided.
