Very nice and quaint yacht club with a nice staff and in a convenient location to stores and town. I'd stay here again.
No one to answer the VHF and no one in the office responded until our 8th call. We were finally assigned a slip, and got settled in after coping with only two viable cleats, when a crabby staff member told us they made a mistake in our slip assignment and we had to move immediately. The neighboring boaters in both slips were as unwelcoming as can be and downright racist to our guests. For a safe harbor marina, it is surprisingly a let down to put it mildly. The industrial setting and loud music from boaters combined with machinery is unsettling. Aside from a major hike to one restaurant on premises, there is nothing else to do but plan your escape.
