No useful communications from the marina after booking except for marketing emails. No gate codes, no WiFi passwords, nothing. No help docking and no answer on the phone or radio. In the morning, the fuel pier was inoperable for diesel, again no one around. I guess itโs better than anchoring here, but frankly you could just come in tie up and leave the next day. No one would even know! Also, some of the slips were clogged with debris.
We made a last minute decision to come in to do laundry and avoid a little storm. Even though the office wasn't technically open, Ian made sure I was able to get laundry tokens! Very much appreciated!! The laundry and showers were very clean and spotless. Docks, etc in good shape. Walking distance to downtown.. Hannafords also walkable, although we took a taxi back. Would stay again.
Great location and good vibe. Hannaford's in walking distance. Nice neighborhood. The Dock Master and her mates were friendly and helpful. Docks being replaced, ours was in very good condition. Nice laundry facility. Beware the quarter shortage of 2021. Did not use the showers, but they were clean looking. We draft 6 feet and never saw less than 11 at half tide on entrance. Will definitely plan a stop back.
