Very helpful staff, really nice bath facilities. Harbormaster Chris provided lots of helpful info on heading up the tricky Jersey ICW. Be sure to enjoy the outdoor mall in downtown Cape May.

City of Charleston was great. Staff at the marina were very nice and helpful. Bathrooms were spacious and clean. We were on their “Mega Dock” which is a very long (quarter mile?) pier. Only complaint is that it can be a very long walk to both the restrooms and land. Luckily they allow bicycles and scooters on the pier. Overall a nice stay.

Let's start with the good: Staff was very nice and helpful. They've got a nice ship-store and relatively clean bathrooms and decent security system on the dock entrances. We dinghy'd over to the island on the east side of the ICW - straight out of the marina channel (very nice to sit on beach and have a drink), and you could also dinghy (or walk) to a nice restaurant just south of the Marina - Pier 220. Having said that, the docks and facilities are aging, they a fixed docks, and there was even an end of one of the piers that was closed as it had collapsed. I don't think I've been in a marina lately (we are 3,600 miles in to the Great Loop) where there were more "less than loved" boats in the marina. Overall, a good stop for one, maybe two, nights - but wouldn't recommend more than that.

We recently stayed there for about a week while doing our Great Loop trip. The staff was nice and helpful. They have a very nice pool and restaurant on site. All gates to docks are locked at all times and accessed via key fob. Only comment is that the docks are getting old and the piers are very, very short (must stern in). Also full service marina with haul out is on-site -- but they are backed up for weeks, so things need to be scheduled well in advance.

The location of the Clearwater Beach Marina is what makes it so special - a ton of shops, restaurants, walking/biking paths, & beaches all near the marina. The Marina it self is in okay shape. There are not enough bathrooms and they aren't in the best shape. One thing that was interesting is that they have electronic locks for the bathrooms (and the dock gates after they close a night) that you can control with your phone (via an app) - pretty slick. They also have a couple of nice commercial washers & dryers that are also paid for via another phone app. Overall - a great place to spend a few days! Couldn't give it 5 stars based on the bathroom facilities.

Staff were helpful, but marina grossly overpriced and not in that good of shape. No laundry, no showers, bathrooms close at night. You’re right in the heart of a lot of restaurants and shops - but also a lot of noise. Bad & loud music was blaring from public speakers at 6:30 am. Not a good value in our opinion. If weather was good, would just anchor in the bay and dinghy to shops & restaurants.

Service department was great! Nice marina and people were helpful. Would have been 5 star except the following: bathrooms were far away, I know it’s off season in Nov, but seemed a little understaffed on docks, and although it’s great they have courtesy vehicle it was on a first come first serve basis and you couldn’t sign up for a time slot - very frustrating. Overall would recommend, especially if you need to get your boat serviced.

First, Chattanooga was great. Once we got there and got the proper dock space, it was nice other than the water was shut off. Lots of loopers stay their to enjoy the city AND re-supply (including water). They did get it back on, but an inconvenience and we cut our stay a day short due to it. We had others where their power went out. They did get it back on - but starting to see a pattern here. Our friends arrived a few days prior (4 boats total) and it took 3-4 hours to get everyone fueled and pumped out! When we arrived (Monday), there was no answer on VHF or phone. They did DockWa us codes and that we would be on the Bluff dock, but when we arrived, there was no space on Bluff dock and no one to talk to about it. Come to find out that Marina office is closed on Sunday & Monday. Also no restrooms on Bluff dock, and the ones at the marina office were about 1/4 mile away and not in good shape. Overall, it is centrally located right in the heart of Chattanooga, and we had a great time, but I have my reservations on management of the facility.
