We had a quick stop here. The slip assignment was confused between the two men on the dock, so we prepped for a port tie, only to get in and and find it was starboard. Luckily, they are competent and we got tied up easily. This is truly a full service marina with all of the necessities - very well stocked ship store, restaurants. 24 hour fuel, pump out (although it was "full" when we were there, so check on this if you need it, thankfully, we did not), great recreational space, amazing views, etc. It was very quiet and calm, yet you are in the middle of the city. Super cool stop!
We had a great, short stay at Boston Waterboat Marina. As soon as we radioed, they were responsive and helpful. We had help docking the boat and they provided all of the information we needed for our stay right away. The docks and facilities are clean and nice. The location can't be beat. Just step outside of the secure gate and you are in the middle of all that Boston has to offer. We enjoyed our stay there and only wish that the tropical storm hadn't caused us to cancel one night because we couldn't get there from Maine. Thank you to the staff for being flexible on our cancelation policy! We hope to be back next summer.
We really enjoyed our stay at Chicks. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We had a bit of an issue getting electric, but the dockhands took care of it immediately! We were originally put on the face dock and that was great because the (no wake zone) river traffic is fun to watch. We were moved to a finger pier, but still had a nice view and could watch the kids jumping off the bridge right off our bow. The facilities are great. Nice bathrooms, clean shared spaces with well maintained bbq's and the swag shop if fully loaded with excellent logo stuff. I walked to town most of the time, but the eco-car is super cool and always at the ready to take you someplace. Great place!
Beautiful location with basic amenities. We were there for a very short stay, so I did not check out the lounge with showers, etc. Docks are narrow and made for working boats, but all were in good shape and well maintained. The young ladies at the dock were helpful and friendly. We needed to borrow an extension for electric service (ours is about 50'), but it all worked out. If you don't have a long cord, you may want to check on this in advance. We walked about 8 minutes to Happy Clam and ended up at their Saloon called Outback Really nice people and the most delicious fried clams ever! It was quiet and beautiful at night. We will be back for a little more time so we can explore.
Great stay. We were thankful to be on a dock and not at anchor as we had a big storm come through. We woke up to waves and wind rolling everybody around, but felt secure the whole time. The dockhands and restaurant workers are all top notch! The grounds and facilities are well maintained. Sketchy wifi and minimal cell coverage if you have to work, but it was manageable. Thanks for a great stay!
We had a mooring at the entrance to the harbor. It was a beautiful place to watch the sunset. Decent food with nice service at the restaurant. The whole process was really easy as they communicated really quickly if I had any questions.
Very nice and helpful gas dock. Easy to maneuver around the marina. Good restaurant on sight.
The crew at Safe Harbor Pilot's point is always great. Facilities and grounds are well kept. We enjoy our stops here!
We had a great stay at the Bay Bridge Marina. The dockmaster was incredibly accommodating and communicative from the beginning. Included were clean facilities, amazing grounds, on-site restaurant and bar. The marina was bustling with workers during the workweek, so I am guessing you can get just about any service you'd need here. The sunset from Hemingway's was amazing. We were there off season and so it was not terribly busy. I am sure it's crowded in season, but there are plenty of places to see it throughout the marina. Maneuvering throughout the marina was easy. The docks are new and in great shape. We will definitely be back!
We spent a terrific weekend at AMCYC and I wish I could give more than five stars. From the moment we called Dusty, the dockmaster, to let him know we were coming in, to the moment he untied our lines as we left, every need was met. The docks are wide and clean. It was a pleasure to see such an active community of boaters. Getting in and out was easy enough. The restrooms were clean and nice. The gathering space is closed due to Covid, but I looked in and it looked casual and comfortable. I'll look forward to that next season. The location of the boatyard is perfect as you can walk to busy downtown Annapolis or enjoy quiet Eastport with ease. Dusty was so attentive. He helped us dock, he gave us great info about the area, he pumped us out he even brought us donuts!! I saw him engaging with many other boat owners with the same enthusiasm. He is a treasure trove of knowledge about Annapolis and the whole Chesapeake Bay region. We will be back! And, as you always should, just be sure to confirm with Dusty especially if you make your reservation on Dockwa. You won't be disappointed.
