This marina is the only available spot if you want to go to the Casino and the bridge clearance at the entry is a problem. The staff is very courteous and helpful but unfortunately, the installations can hardly accommodate boats longer than 45 feet and the nearby bridge is fairly noisy. If you tie up at the far end (north) you will have a tolerable night.
It is one of the nicest spot on the Ottawa River (Rivière des Outaouais). It is certainly worth a stop no matter what type of boater you are. The place is manage by Fairmont Le Château Montebello and you'll experience rustic elegance and a warm welcome in the stunning red cedar log Château Montebellos buildings Beautiful surroundings and activities with exciting adventures, including horseback riding, an exceptional Montebello golf course, outdoor tennis, swimming, curling, tubing, Canada's only Land Rover Experience Driving School, as well as a brand new Spa to name but a few. For a family outing or a romantic weekend, the Chateau Montebello Marina is an ideal destination.
Sadly this marina, with one of the best location on eastern waterways, is still without a restaurant. There is a mobile kitchen trailer selling good food but unfortunately it is on a part time basis; better call in advance if you want to eat there.
