Docks in decent shape. Dock hands courteous and capable. Facilities lacking..pool dirty..no laundry…barbecue accessibility as carrying your food and needed cooking items uphill can be an issue for some..Miss the good old days at Champlins..understand new mgmt trying to “get it right” but getting rid of the charm and kids fun to become more upscale probably doesn’t cut it with the general family oriented boaters..
Thank you for staying with us and we are glad that you enjoyed our dock team! We acknowledge that the pool has been a struggle this year, but it is definitely clean and tested daily. It certainly isn't pretty, but it is clean! We did hear the request for laundry facilities and ordered machines for guest laundry back in January and are eagerly awaiting their arrival. We also added a number of family friendly outdoor games and activities this year and have received a lot of great feedback about that. We are sorry that they weren't of interest to your gang. We hope you will give us another try!
