Reviews

My husband and I arrived prior to the Fourth of July for a three night stay. We were terribly disappointed that the Dry Dock restaurant was closed. We were also unhappy with the management after our dinghy engine was stolen from behind our boat. The management never approach us in regards to this misfortune they even insinuated that we dropped it in the water, when the DNR police confronted them. Poor customer service and no empathy. We will not be back. We miss the small family owned business and not this insensitive corporate marina.

Marina Response:
Thank you for your review and for staying with us. It is of the utmost importance to us that our guests’ concerns are met with a sensitive and timely response. When a staff member reported the missing outboard to management after being notified by the owner, the Dockmaster immediately responded to the boat for more information, and passed along the contact information for Maryland DNR to the owner. It was explained that the marina would be filing a report with DNR, and it was suggested that the owner file a report with DNR as well. Any reference to a possibility that the outboard was in the water, be it by the DNR officer or marina management, was made out of an abundance of due diligence, rather than in an accusatory manner. We regret the loss of any customer’s property during a stay at Safe Harbor Zahnisers and work diligently with all parties involved to complete a thorough investigation.
