Late in the season. Entrance channel a concern, very shallow, very narrow. Tied up to center dock, 43 ft American tug. Called and left messages with the Marina, no response. Tried VHF and no response. Thankfully electric was functioning on the pedestal but otherwise no personnel around. Porta John's available no pump out. Very nice location very nice facility but room for improvement.
Great overnight. Side tie-up in front of museum. Docks are in good shape. Museum is worth a tour, a lot of history happened here. Great dinner and vibe at the Ship to Shore restaurant.
Quiet, well kept marina, great docks, utilities, if the main river channel. We got in later than planned, 8pm but Bill Brown was they're standing by to help with the lines. We'll be back!
Back again to Brooklyn 1-15 Marina. Had to cancel last weekend dodging thunderstorms, Marina rescheduled us whe we requested. Dockmaster Will was very helpful, switched slips for us at the last minute on account of tricky wind/current/swell combo. Clean marina, great docks, fantastic location, stunning views of the city, great linear parks on the piers and along side the seawall. And Brooklyn is 100 yds away. Highly recommended, but be aware swells and current present in marina.
Deck hands were very helpful helping us into the slip. Staff was courteous and friendly. We extended our stay by a day due to weather but then we're able to get out anyway and the staff kindly cancelled the reservation for the second night. Nice gesture. We'll be back
Great location, steps from town. Dick was very helpful in helping to tie up the boat, linear dock with a side tie up down a long and narrow channel. Not picturesque but a very convenient location close to everything. Would definitely stay here again
Great, walkable town with tons of restaurants and shops. Docks are right in town, clean and quiet, and friendly, helpful dockhands. Linear dock, side tie, keep in mind current can be a factor docking and undocking as well as at the harbor entrance
Nice private dockage , Brian was extremely helpful reaching out to us before-hand, tying up, and a tour guide for the facility. Sparse amenities, but all the basics. Nothing missing. Wishing this organization best of luck in turning the tar and paint building of old into a marine mammals education and research center. Location on the art colony side of the harbor easy to get to Gloucester by harbormaster launch (VHF 72). Visit Salted Cod wine bar and art gallery for b'fast through evening drinks. Great stay in Gloucester!
Clean facility, great docks, good restaurants. Short walk into "town", Cafe Chew, good breakfasts and lunches
Steve the dockmaster was great - very helpful prior to arrival with depth along side info, approach, etc. Helpful on arrival getting us into the marina, gave us the best spot in the house. Very informative on what to do in Croton, what to see. We went to the Croton gorge dam on his recommendation - not to be missed. Marine in good condition, docks good and bumpered. We look forward to coming back.

Arrived Sep 12 afternoon a high tide with a Dockwa reservation for a transient slip. First time in marina. Called the harbormaster about 45 minutes before arrival on listed cell phone - no answer. Just outside breakwater, tried repeatedly to raise marina on channel 9 - no answer. Could not raise anyone on cell or VHF. A kind soul in a center console passing by directed us to the right dock. We found our slip but noticed on the chart the depth at the dock MLW of 2 feet - we draw 4-10". Turned around and were heading back out to the channel to regroup. Tried the harbormaster again on cell. This time got a person on the other end. They directed us back to transient dock, assuring us there was "6 or 7 feet" at low tide. We decided to go back in and tie up but be ready to move out if necessary. Ended up with 2' underkeel at low water. We understand post-Labor day things slow down, but then marina should update their page indicating what to do if they can't be reached. A PDF of the slip numbering and depths alongside would help as well.
Great marina, priceless harbor views, great location.Fantastic location and relaxing low key vibe. Tom was helpful and attentive from the time we made the reservation until he cast off our last line. Look forward to coming back
easy docking, clean, quiet, a pleasant overnight. One 50 amp plug on the pedastal only gave 117v, not 220v. the other one gave 220v
Very nice facility, good services, very helpful staff but too many boats crammed into A Dock. Blocking boats in, tight quarters not enjoyable. So ,great service but under par dock utilization standard
