Harbormaster David went above and beyond for us. We needed to replace our refrigerator. He allowed us to ship it to the marina, had it at the gas dock when we arrived, and even helped us load it into our boat. In addition to our refrigerator experience, David runs a top-notch marina. Secure floating docks and nice clean restrooms and showers.
Stayed four nights at DuSable, in a slip very close to the shore. Thought it might be noisy, but it was quite pleasant for the most part, barking dogs on a nearby catamaran and a guy constantly yelling from a high-rise building for them to shut up notwithstanding. Staff was helpful when docking. Restrooms were kept pretty clean. Expected nicer for the price, but they were fine. Great access to the city by foot or bike. Glad we were able to get a slip here.
We spent a pleasant three days here. Helpful staff, and nice restroom and shower facilities right at the town center. Bluefish, just a few blocks up the street, had great food. The river current can make docking a challenge, so we were glad to have a bow-in starboard tie, to let the current blow us to the dock.
Fantastic new marina with a helpful staff. Beautiful boaters lounge and among the nicest private bathroom and shower facilities of marinas we’ve visited. The nice-looking new pool opened the day before we arrived. We could only stay one day, but this is a great place for a longer stay.
