Shane, John, Robin, and the entire crew are the epitome of hospitality and flexibility. Very responsive to requests and needs. The marina itself has everything a boater might want: courtesy car, restaurants, ship store, service department at Boat Works, sparkling clean individual restroom/shower, fuel, pump out, ice… We liked it so much we are doing a u-turn at Grand Harbor and going back. The Paducah dock and power pedestals were such a welcome site after three nights at anchor or at a tie-up on the Mississippi River. John ran down to catch our lines. Much appreciated. Trash bin is at the end of the dock. No restrooms but town is a short walk away. We had a peaceful night, rocked by passing tows. Thank you Paducah Transient Dock! Scott and Teresa GREEN EYES
One of my favorite tie-ups. If you draw 3’ or less, you can dock inside the marina but if you’re lucky, you get to tie up to the oldest lock wall on the Illinois. It dates from 1870 and was the first lock on the Illinois. The spot is rustic, serene, and scenic. There is power and water and the porta-loos are spotless. Short walk to grocery store and restaurants. The new owners, Fran and her husband, are wonderful folk. Fran even sent me some wonderful photos she took of our boat Green Eyes as we were coming in. Loved our stay.
Great location in town. Walk to grocery, shops, ice cream and several great restaurants especially, Riverside Inn for amazing rib eye, The Cove for seafood chowder, and Bluebird for excellent pizza. My husband and I stayed on our boat in the inner harbor for more than a month. This is the most well-managed marina on the Great Loop. The facilities and amenities were like new; sparkling clean. Barbecues were cleaned daily. The gym and the shower were available from 8am to 6pm daily and the restrooms by the pool were open all the time. Again, spotless. Pool bar served up refreshing drinks from 1pm to 7pm. There are two air-conditioned lounge areas, one in the club house and another in the marina office. The pool. Marlin Bay has THE most amazing pool in the Florida Keys. There’s shallow water for the kiddies to play in and there’s at least 115 feet of lap swimming available. Absolutely loved doing laps every morning in the crystal clear, palm-tree-lined pool. The chaise lounges have plush cushions that are beyond comfortable. Best I’ve ever seen and so well-maintained. I can’t thank General Manager Claudine, and Maintenance Manager Buffalo enough for making Marlin Bay such a wonderful place to stay. We’ll never forget our stay. Teresa Green Eyes the Nordic Tug

Beautiful setting, great facilities, attentive staff. The wonderful Belle Cafe restaurant is on site. Best of all, we received the best directions in 14 months of cruising for marina approach and slip by one of the three ladies in the office. Much appreciated. And thank you for the California wine!
I love the charm and friendliness of this marina. There is a nice grassy area and shady pavilion to hang out. Very quiet. Beautiful neighborhood. There aren’t many transient slips and I’m happy they could accommodate us. Next time, we will ask to be on the face dock as the slip we are in is quite narrow. Still, a great stop! Grace runs the office and she is excellent at her job. We arrived at slack tide so current wasn’t an issue, but there were two dock hands there to catch our lines, always much appreciated. Grace gave us a map to the historic district and beach village and gave us keys to a golf cart so we could tour the area. Jekyll Market has most anything you’d need and more. Nice beach. Great stop! Little or no current within the marina. April caught our lines at the fuel dock then handed us a welcome packet and a bottle of wine. Watch sunset from the top of the lighthouse or on the grass opposite the marina entrance. There are shops and a restaurant on site. We rode our bikes to the beach. Wonderful. Showers temporarily located in the Club House are a bit of a walk but worth it. Up there in our top 5 stops on the great loop. Thank you Harbour Town Yacht Basin! Scott and Tris GREEN EYES
Dock master Aaron made docking and check-in easy. We made use of the courtesy car to visit historic Beaufort on a still, sunny, Sunday morning. So glad we did. A nice Publix Supermarket is close to the marina for provisioning. Individual showers and toilets always appreciated. Laundry and boaters lounge too. Bikes can be borrowed. Great stay! Thanks Aaron.
Great marina! The staff is ready to help catch lines, cast off, move a boat, or drive you almost anywhere on the hourly shuttle. The shuttle makes a trip to West Marina daily at 11:00. This is a very well run marina. The mega dock is… mega long. We used our bikes for trips to the showers or to the shuttle. Charleston is a wonderful city. A stop not to miss. Everything one would want in a marina! New, well-designed docks, great merchandise in the ship’s store, tastefully designed, sparkling clean showers, bathrooms and laundry. Cafe food truck on site has a fun menu of foods and they can deliver to your boat! Jack, Robert, Vivian and all the crew here are so friendly and hospitable. Best marina in Burlington Vt. on Lake Champlain. We’ll be back!

This is one of the best marinas we have stayed at on the Loop. Ivan is so knowledgeable and helpful. He sourced a new chart plotter for us and arranged installation. Andrew and his team are cheerful pros, great at making us feel welcome. Ed and Pete installed a new auto pilot and chart plotter and were a pleasure to work with.
