Fore Points proved to be the ideal staging point for picking up and dropping off crew. Eric and John were both very professional and friendly and clearly put the safety of your boat and crew first. Portland is a wonderful town, and Fore Points, while a good walk away, is a safe, clean, and very efficiently managed vantage point from which to enjoy it. Katherine Merservier could not have been more friendly and helpful, and I look forward to our next visit.
We docked here on our way to Maine in order to be able to pick up crew who had flown into Providence. The marina is very conveniently located for this. I have only positive words for our arrival and our stay here. Kenny, the dockmaster, certainly knows how to run a "tight ship" and at the same time be a welcoming and gracious host.
Take a hint from this marina's full name and realize that the focus is going to be on the golfers staying in the motel. Dockage was exorbitantly expensive, and there were none of the usual amenities: no showers, no laundry; the wifi didn't work, and a courtesy car would have been nice to have for provisioning, since Uber wasn't available.
