A mile or less walk on quiet streets to Jamestown shops, grocery stores and restaurants and great protection from wind and seas from almost all directions are the big positives. The full summer fare with off-season service hours left me feeling like I got less than I paid for. Also, cruisers should know that the town dinghy dock has a 30 minute limit for transients.
