Great and enthusiastic dock crew. Made it easy to get into lower Manhattan. Felt safe here which means a lot these days, esp in NYC with all that's going on!
Stayed at Safe Harbor Haverstraw in August and was disappointed in the poor level of maintenance. Apparently the new owners of the marina have chosen to neglect any much needed repairs. Walking on our finger pier was exceptionally challenging, not to mention the scary, very dark and VERY long walk at night to their restrooms. Don't know why they stick transients over a 1/4 walk away from anything, but the restaurant was too expensive for the level of food, so if you stay here, best to cook aboard. Wouldn't repeat and I'm sorry to say this as I am not one to write poor reviews, but to leave it mildly, we weren't treated well.
Little pricey but the view of the city skyline is magnificent.
Overdue 5 star rating from this past July. Great crew and their attentiveness to detail is very welcoming. Thank you Josh for your attention to detail and for giving us a very relaxing two night stay here! We'll be back for sure.
