Love, love, love Essex Island! All of the dock staff work so hard to accommodate and please each and every request made... no matter the need! It was extremely hot out this particular weekend and the dock staff (in 101 degree weather) delivered ice bags to our slip since the heat is fatiguing for an elderly woman such as myself. Also, despite the review found below, I thought the bugs were not even an issue and a couple of mosquitoes could never take away from the natural beauty of the island. I will keep coming back to the island for years to come, as should you all to see for yourself how truly wonderful of a destination it really is!
