SMM is a fantastic marina with great amenities and right in the middle of the St Michael’s action. Even better, they go above and beyond to help their guests with anything you need. No better place to stay on a boat in SM. Thanks to Mike and Chris!
This was our first time at HHM. We expected great things based on the reviews but it was a real letdown. For starters, we had to practically beg a dockhand to come help us deal with a 15kt crosswind (after no one responded to our initial hail on 16.) We then were told the marina restaurant/bar Passages no longer serves food, despite what their website says. It also didn't serve drinks for us either, because Passages decided to close all weekend for staffing issues. No food, no drink available whatsoever at the marina, so we walked 15 minutes into town. Nice location and view, but for this price point you can find plenty of other marinas on the Bay that provide the basics -- dockhands, food, and drink -- to their guests.
