Always a delight! A gem in Vineyard Haven. Will and crew are attentive, caring and have created a welcoming environment. Our favorite MV home away from home! Paradise! Would recommend strengthening the Wi-Fi, especially further down the dock.

Surprised and happy to get a virtually short notice reservation. Phone contact was pleasant and upbeat. On arrival, three professional staff made the approach and dockage on a very windy day stress free....made me look good at the helm. The docks are very stable and clean. Lots of interesting harbor boat traffic but the no wake enforcement makes it very comfortable even at busy times. We were right in the heart of historic Marblehead. Need I say more. Will put Marblehead on our cruising itinerary every year! Addendum: we’ve been back several ,ore times since this review was written. Each time is such a great stay. It’s become our favorite “northern port” when leaving Cape Cod and heading north. Once again, the entire staff is focused on the boater. We prefer slips when traveling and the docks in Marblehead never disappoint.

Marina Response:
thank you so much for your kind words about our wonderful harbor and facility. it was our pleasure to have you visit.

We love PTown and all it has to offer. The marina is top notch in many ways, front desk reception, deck staff and facilities. However, given rate structure, I cannot understand the $15 dollar per day water charge. This seems nickel and dime to me and diminishes the obvious attempt at being a first rate destination. If the water costs or availability is a local issue, perhaps say so but it seems petty to cough up yet another fee to rinse your boat after a potentially rough sea. It’s not the money, but really, locking all the faucets? Not cool.

We had a wonderful three days at the Black Dog. The staff was, as always, very helpful and eager to make the stay as good as possible. My only suggestion would be to make the dock a non smoking environment. Depending on the wind direction, the smoke is unavoidable. Especially annoying while sitting in or on the boat. Of course, more unhealthy for those smoking but their choice. I prefer smoke free as do most people.

Always love Cuttyhunk. I would strongly encourage the Dockmaster to lower the electric fee for boats staying a few hours to eliminate, or better still not allow the running of generators at the dock.We listened to and smelled exhaust for the better part of the afternoon rendering our cockpit useless while the boat owner and family went to the beach and took dinghy rides. Not cool.
