We’ve been coming to Sunset Bay Marina as transients for several years and recently as a member. We’ve now relocated to Safe Harbor Marina Bay and spent a few days at Sunset Bay. Two big improvements are a) addition of the breakwater which keeps much of the chop away from the slips and b) the remodeling of the bathrooms and lounge area. I do plan to return later in the summer.
Lovely and well protected harbor with beautiful walks and views. As always, the Safe Harbor crew was helpful and friendly.
Hawthorne Cove has a lot going for it. The staff are helpful and friendly, there are plenty of lounging chairs overlooking the water, and last but not least, location, location, location….a stone’s throw from the charms of downtown historical Salem.
A very large and well protected marina. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Lots of nice bars and restaurants right there along the dock.
