Roland and the crew could not be more accommodating to boaters. We’ve been here twice in two weeks to sit out weather, and they’ve done everything they can to get boats in. A little rocky on the dock in big winds, but safe and close to a great little town.
If you’re assigned to a morning in the “outer harbor” know that means you’re in the bay. Between the wake and the wind the night we were there, it was very uncomfortable. We also had a hard time finding our assigned ball (first time there). They did send a kid on a skiff who brought us to the wrong one - but the right neighborhood. With the bouncing boat and tiny pendant it was really hard to get the line - I watched another boat struggle too - they finally left! Might as well just anchor.
Favorite mooring of our Maine cruise so far. First time coming into the harbor, so Peter came out in the skiff to show us to the mooring and then helped me with the line when I kept missing 🙄! It got pretty windy when we were there but we were well protected. Short dinghy to dock and close to town. Will definitely return!
We’ve tried the other marinas and will continue to return to Belhaven Marina. The GM, Greg and staff are friendly, skilled and go above and beyond to make boaters comfortable. There’s a new dock that worked well for us and you can’t top the location for walking around the town. Great marina.
Good docks, good location- gotta be prepared to pick your own spot and dock yourself, the guy on duty leaves for lunch and ignores the radio.
Beautiful cove with a nice little marina - a club member came on a Sunday to help us tie up. Short walk to Eau Gallie “downtown” with good restaurants. We would go again.
Skilled dockhands welcome you to good docks with a beautiful view. Washers and dryers are efficient and clean and the shower is also clean and modern. The food at Zachry’s Riverhouse was great, as was Jerod the bartender. This is one of our favorite stops on The ICW
Best communication prior to and upon arrival than any other marina on the ICW so far. Good socks, helpful staff ( though the ramp was SUPER slippery at low tide in pouring rain - no surprise). They accommodated our request for an additional day because of weather without an issue. Short walk to 4 restaurants and a short Uber to downtown Savannah.
We received more advance info than any other marina ever! It was complete with a map of the approach. Dee single-handedly ties us up safely and provides great area info. Facilities aren’t great but the dock and the service was fantastic
Beautiful new floating dock - but we bounced all night. Two people helped us tie up which was great. The facilities were less than ideal - toilets out of order bathroom very dirty. Second visit there we hoped it would be better than last year. The dock was new and nice - nothing else was better. Won’t return.
