Marina was clean and nice. People friendly (staff & fellow boaters). Not much in the way of walkable amenities. Works well as a first/last stop from/to Chicago. We were advised by a resident boater not to explore too much inland on foot
Port Washington is an awesome town the marina is pleasant, clean and secure. We had a too-ten meal at the Twisted Willow, a little over a block from our slip!
