Great people, great marina, great town feel. Outstanding sunsets!
Friendly staff, but do not use VHF radio! Right downtown, so Uber and public transportation is easy. Casino, restaurants, are a short walk. Security seems pretty tight here also. I have stayed 4 times, and I have booked a return trip. This is my "go to" marina for Tampa, Fl. Limited services- no pump out or fuel, but mechanics can come and go. Land parking is limited until the parking garage 2 blocks north
Entry has currents. The staff cannot hear a VHF call on 65, until you are at the Coast Guard building, at the mouth of the cove. Staff are helpful. Docks are renewed. There are many restaurants, and of course casino's. This Municipal marina is operated by Golden Nugget. No current inside at slips.
