More than just a convenient place to stop. Although there is a modest fee for tying up - even short term, this is a nice place to get out and stretch your legs or beachcomb. Make sure you walk up the hill to the restaurant. This is a cozy little spot with top-notch decor and super friendly staff and five-star food but at prices that are not typical of a marine environment. The view from the patio is spectacular! There appears to be a buffet Wednesday nights.
What an absolute God-send in the middle of no where! Inexpensive overnight moorage, super convenient facilities, very friendly locals, inexpensive store and liquor store, clean, new and spectacular views!
I do not use this facility as a camper but the clientele & facilities appear to be top notch. I store my boat there and use their marina. I have not seen a facility as accommodating, guest friendly features or as well kept as this place. It's truly gorgeous and certainly inexpensive.
