The resort itself on this beautiful island and the staff at the hotels/restaurants were very welcoming and were willing to help make your stay as good as possible. The marina dockhands were not as trained as I had anticipated, but they were adequate. The VHF was very garbled upon arrival and the announcement of the slip and docking instructions were very difficult to understand. The underwater lights at the marina were definitely a plus to the night ambience.
Very accommodating - responded to mooring request quickly on VHF and directed us to it. Launch was available to take you to town, really nice launch captain, very personable and certainly aimed to provide reliable and quick service. Operated until 7:45pm. One gift shop and one grocery/deli in town. Beautiful homes and really nice people, very inviting. Will go back.
Safe Harbor Harbortown has new docks for catamarans - very nice floating docks with pumpout stations on the dock. We are awaiting a haulout for some warranty service and they have been very accommodating during our stay. They do not offer weekly rates, but they do have a monthly rate and daily transient rate -- pretty much in line with other marinas in the area.

Thank you for the personal service while there. We really appreciate the ride when the courtesy car was out for an extended time. We needed to do a short errand in order to be able to be leave in a timely manner the next morning, so a very kind woman in in the marina office offered to take us in her personal car. Family was accommodating, good fuel prices and fills at slip, good restaurant on site, close to town.
Really nice, accommodating, nice amenities. Very clean bath/shower rooms. No longer offering a shuttle to West Marina and grocery.

Only stayed one night, club offered dinghy dick and nice laundry. Pump out boat was available, but we weren't there in time to request it for that day and we left early the next morning. Easy in and out.
The staff at Maine Yacht Center are truly there to serve and meet the needs of their customers and patrons. They do an exceptional job of doing just that in a timely manner. The marina offers amenities that are very valuable to cruisers, i.e. laundry, courtesy car, great water pressure, really neat and organized docks and marina office as well as a great service center. Thank you to the staff for accommodating us and our every need.
Easy access - and good mooring balls - lots of boaters in the area enjoying a beautiful day. We enjoyed a meal at the Dolphin restaurant while we were there. Must say the Blueberry muffins were a nice touch and a welcome treat!
We were warmly welcomed — for our day trip to Winter harbor. They arranged lunch reservations for our party of 6 as well as scheduled the launch service to pick us up. The food was really good and had lots of variety. They were willing to customize any way that they could to meet our needs. The yacht club seemed to be a very friendly and offered lots of activities for the whole family. Not fancy, but definitely was welcoming and accommodating. Definitely met the needs of the community. Reubens, Lobster BLT and Blueberry pie as well as the delicious cookies were hits with our group.
Very Accommodating - we were on a mooring ball. We were having our dinghy serviced and they provided a courtesy ride to shore to allow me to explore Boothbay. Offered lots of suggestions for our cruising in Maine.
