Excellent marina, very friendly, attentive staff-- we always enjoy coming here. Snack bar is open (Butler Flats) with great seafood selections, including lobster roll and fried clams. Pool recently reopened (July 15, 2021.)

Marina Response:
Thank you very much for your awesome review and feedback! It was a pleasure having you here at Capri Marina, and we are happy to hear that you enjoyed the facilities, area, and our team. Please come back and stay with us again soon.

Love this marina- more protected than other side of island, friendly staff, launch service, clean bathrooms/showers. Beautiful (hilly) walk to town (20 min) and supermarket (15 min.) Dog friendly. Moorings only.

Very pretty harbor, view of Newport bridge, well-equipped moorings with two bow lines and a pickup stick. Launch service was great. Not far from the shipping lane so you do get a fair amount of rolling here. About a 20 minute (hilly) walk into town.

Beautiful marina! Very nice facilities—pool, bathrooms, showers, lounge— very nicely kept, landscaped, clean. Restaurant on premises. Staff in general very helpful and friendly, Ryan in particular. Highly recommend.

Stayed here twice in a week and both times had a very good experience. Staff greeted us when we came in, very helpful getting us tied up and plugged in, very accommodating. Clean restrooms and lounge, grassy picnic area with grill, nice pool. Restaurant and bar- Billy’s on the Bay- on site. Good drinks, lobster specials, clams, oysters, shrimp, several TVs. More of a boat yard than a resort, very well equipped to do all kinds of repairs, huge travel lift. Only suggestion is to keep pool open longer, it closes at 6pm, which seems too early on a summer night. Will def return.

Marina Response:
Thank you for the kind review and for your suggestion. We are happy to hear that you enjoyed your stay at Greenport Yacht Yard, and we look forward to seeing you again! Happy boating!

Very popular spot with party atmosphere, thanks to onsite restaurant and bar. Walking distance to other restaurants/shops; town is 1¼ miles away. Was there for the shark tournament which was very crowded, but were told it’s that way all summer. Food was very good at Rebecca’s (onsite) and service was friendly. Raw bar available nightly, until clams and oysters run out (go before 6.) Bathrooms always open and clean, showers available 7am to 6pm with 25¢ meter for hot water. No wifi. You pay slip prices but there are no “slips”—everyone is rafted up, though you may be first on the dock. Dockmaster Sanders Payne and staff expertly tie you up and board your ship (surprise!) to raft others to you. We were 2nd from dock and had access to water and 50 amp electric. Lots of friendly boaters around us, mostly it’s great fun if you don’t mind the rafting. Cab service and tours available—we took Mig’s Rig and loved it.

Very nice facility, great staff. Dockmaster Stefan was excellent, couldn’t have been more accommodating when we landed. Short walk to town, shops, cafes. Yacht club has beautiful view of the harbor from the upper deck and barroom. A great place to stay in Newport- smaller and quieter than the other marinas.

Very friendly staff and great facilities. We hailed the dockmaster on channel 9 and George came out in the launch and led us into our dock (this is a very large marina-- over 700 slips.) Then he and another staff helped us tie up and plug in. When we checked in at the office they gave us a welcome package with all necessary info (gate codes, wifi password, etc.) They have two pools, one at each end ("North" and "South") of the marina. There is a restaurant on site-- Chelo's-- which gets very lively (i.e. loud) at night. There is also a good pub (The Shanty) about 1/4 mile up the road (and I mean up up up a steep hill.) The town of East Greenwich has a lot of shops, cafes, restaurants-- very cute and retro!-- but is not really walking distance from the marina (about 2 miles.) You can also take your dingy to the waterfront restaurants. Very lively, friendly marina!
