Sandwich is a great place to say for a stopover or quick getaway. Staff are helpful with tie up and fuel. It’s an active marina during the day, but it quiets down at night. There are Some nice amenities are close by. Hit up “seafood sams” if you need a good fried fix and then walk the canal paths. Goto the Fisherman’s View for excellent Sushi and the fish market. There’s a grocery and other provisions a short walk away. Get Shipwrecks ice cream. Nice people on the docks that welcome transients. Definitely recommend. The staff also practice social distancing. Great Stay. Dockmaster was very accomodating, assisted with tie up. Quiet docks.
Great spot for relaxing. Awesome sunsets. Great shelter from weather. The harbor master team at Menemsha we’re great. Docking with the pillings can be a bit tricky if you’re not used to them. Stopped there for 2 nights. Dockside water and electric. You’re steps from the beach and fishmongers. Goto the Menemsha Fish Market for the best chowder or bisque and a lobster salad roll. Amazing. In Menemsha you can go off the grid.
