We moored here for two nights on our way to Sag Harbor. Mooring was convenient to fuel at Danfords and location was very calm despite the port Jefferson ferry that frequently went back-and-forth to Connecticut. Launch service is part of the mooring fee and is very convenient to get into town. Several good restaurants in town and lots of ice cream shops! A nice little park next to the yacht club that had live bands most nights we were there, but other than that not much going on in the town.

Stayed here two nights to get out of the weather. Owner met us when we came in and helped us tie up. Very professional. Docs are very new and in good shape. Restaurant has outstanding food and in the morning they bring coffee and blueberry muffins to you boat even if you’re on a mooring. Even their fuel is reasonably priced. Wonderful family owned business. Would have given it six stars if that was an option.

Frank, the Dockmaster was very helpful getting us tied up. He pointed out places to eat in town, and even offered to drive my wife and her friend into Salem.

South Jersey marina is one of our go to stops coming up and down the East Coast. Always very courteous and friendly, nice facility. And we really enjoy Cape May.

We really enjoyed our stay. Brian was extremely friendly and helpful. The marina is in an excellent location for visiting the downtown area with many restaurants and shops close by. Little or no wake from passing boats during our three day stay. Wi-Fi performance was outstanding!

Very quiet setting, beautiful sunsets, and friendly patrons and staff. Good restaurant on site and internet worked well for streaming Netflix. Very dog friendly too. We came in and out via the deeper northern route. Saw nothing less than 10 feet at mid tide, but tricky in a couple places so study charts beforehand.

Marina Response:
We’re very pleased that you enjoyed your stay! Thank you for your kind words. Please come visit us again soon!

Docks were modern and in good shape. Staff were friendly and many local attractions including Plymouth Rock are a short walk from the dock. The reason for only 3 stars with 10 knots or more out of the N or NE or E the conditions on their face dock were extremely uncomfortable.

Marina had modern floating docks and the staff were friendly and helpful. Rockland has a lot to offer with the Wyeth and Maine Lighthouse museums. Location is very convenient to both and to restaurants. However we have a dog and the walk to the pottie area was very, very long. Also during our stay we had winds out of the North to East at 10 kts, which made for a very rocky stay.

The marina is in a very quiet location, sheltered from the occasional swell in the main harbor, yet easy walking distance into town. Ian, the dockmaster, is very friendly and helpful. Marina is also very pet friendly. This marina is now one of our favorites.

David, the harbormaster was very friendly and attentive. He met us at the dock when we arrived and help us leave because of the current. We actually stayed at badger Island east, which I believe is an associated facility Located directly across the river. This marina is in an excellent location with numerous restaurants and shops within a 15 minute walk/half a mile. The facilities were very clean and well kept. Most of the reviews warn about the wake from passing boats, and it did get a little rough in the afternoon with the returning fishing boats and a flood tide. That is why I gave 4 stars. But even though we were on a face dock exposed to the river it wasn’t that bad, and we’ve certainly been at worse docks.

Marina is very convenient to historic downtown Salem. Many restaurants and museums within easy walking distance. Docks are modern with good shore power and WiFi. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Only negative was the construction going on in the parking lot. That is why I didn’t give it five stars. But on a even more positive note they are clearly investing a lot of money to improve the marina even more.

Marina is in a great location with a lot of historical sites in New Bedford, esp. the Whaling Museum, approximately a mile away. Restaurants within a half mile. Negatives were wifi was not working, and we were out on the west end of D dock. With a 15-20 kt south wind it was rocky. Very long walk to the marina entrance from our berth.

The property is every bit as nice as it appears in the pictures. Pool is fantastic, and staff were outstanding. Very friendly and accommodating. The clubhouse has shuffleboard, a pool table, and a very very nice fitness center. Property is pet friendly. The marina could have benefited from an on-site restaurant and ship store, but there are several restaurants within walking distance. The Florida Keys lobster house has good food, is only a five minute walk, and has an extensive menu. There is a West Marine about a mile away. They don’t have a fuel dock, but have an agreement with Faro Blanco Marina, which is about 2 miles away and on your approach from the West / south where you can get discounted fuel. Coming in from the west we never saw depths less than 7 feet. Leaving to the north on our way to Naples we saw depuths never less than 6 feet.
