As a marina this place is great. Nice, new, clean bathroom/shower set up and fantastic boaters lounge. Solid floating docks in calm water. Pool is also good, but has a fairly small pool deck and not really enough shade parasols on busy days. The marina is a bit far from town, but then there’s not much in town to go to. Wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again.
We had an unplanned extended stay and really enjoyed it. Staff were very accommodating and helpful, shower and bathroom facilities extremely nice/clean, pool was nice and grounds were well maintained. Nice walks in quiet neighborhood and restaurants a short dinghy (or water taxi) ride away. Dock decking in process of being renewed and staff keep the docks clean. Only weakness at this marina preventing a 5-star rating is that some slips can be quite rocky in certain winds, or on busy weekends. Would stay here again....in fact we're already booked to return!
Very nice and peaceful spot. Docks were great, and showers/bathroom areas very clean and nice. Pool right there and a reasonable walk to restaurants if you don’t want to use the one on site. Would stay again.
Fantastic dock hands and plenty of bathroom/shower capacity. We were on the inside of the mega dock which was very comfortable, but I would not want to stay on the outside of the mega dock unless I was in a mega vessel. Specifically request inside or “protected” slip or you will be rockin’ and rollin’ and I don’t mean at a bar in town…you can do the latter from either side of the dock.
This is one of our favorite stops. Great dock hands, clean convenient bathrooms/showers, restaurant on site, nice bike rides/walks, lots of golf and a free loaner golf cart to use exploring. We stop here every trip.
This is a very nice peaceful marina albeit a bit remote from provisioning options. Great dock staff and tidy new floating docks. Restaurant on site (did not go) and very nice neighborhood for walking. Several golf courses within an easy bike ride. Have stayed here before and will again.
Beaufort is always a great stop. Dock hands very capable and helpful. City access is great although provisioning not entirely convenient. Only complaint is restrooms. They’re “fine” but not up to standard I’ve come to expect at Safe Harbor Marinas. Will stay here again.
Wonderful spot slightly off the beaten track. Friendly helpful staff, nice floating docks, great restaurant, clean bathrooms/showers and good place for walking. No provisioning nearby. Will stop here again.
This is a great casual little spot for those not looking to impress. No help to the dock, but it was easy. Great outdoor seating and grilling area, cosy clubhouse and totally good bathroom and shower facilities. Not fancy, but totally good! Publix a 2 mile bike ride and little downtown within five blocks. Look forward to staying here again.
Extremely nice place with very friendly and helpful staff. Our boat was 1/3 the size of most vessels there, but staff bent over backwards to accommodate us and treated us like the big boys. Convenient to golf and supplies will try to stay here every time we pass by.
Great location. Protected harbor. Good help on dock. Very secure. Bathrooms a bit small and dated, but clean and totally serviceable. Happy to stay here any time.
