This is one of our favorites and a regular for us. Top-notch service as always. Highly recommended !
My wife's one word review upon returning from walking our pup was "immaculate". My first impression... sprawling ! That said bathrooms, showers grills are plentiful so wherever they locate you they are convenient. Nice to just stroll and explore. Although there is a shuttle, bikes are helpful since nearest large markets are 3 mi in either direction and it's a nice area ashore. Yard was quite on the wknd but looks capable of most anything. Pretty & peaceful location... nice docks, nice resturant onsite. Easy in/out of channel (just be aware of potential cross current as its a bit narrow) Only negatives.... no laundry facility and quite pricey (to us at least). Booked reservation via Dockwa which was painless. Would definitely return.
Our first time here.... Simply WOW ! My wife's first comment after walking the pup upon arrival was "immaculate". Beautifully laid out and maintained. The place is sprawling... but still cozy. Narrow but well marked inlet and really pretty area. Marina is broken up into sections and is great for exploring. Courtesy shuttle is available but bikes are helpful as nearest large markets are 3mi east or west. Yard was very quiet while we were there on wknd but obviously has an incredible svc dept. Grills available all over as well as bathrooms & showers so where ever they dock you they will be convenient. All that said... NOT CHEAP. But lots of value for the money, and we would DEFINITELY return.
Our first time here.... thought Norwalk would be much more commercial (similar to Stamford and Bridgeport) because of the large power plant which is an eyesore. But in reality it's quite recreational and pretty. Very friendly & helpful staff. Nice marine store and surrounding area. Many services onsite for maintenance or repair needs. Would definitely come back again.
