Great People! We desperately needed new batteries. I sent a message through Dockwa, on a Friday, which was answered within 30 minutes. Then they called. They had our batteries for us Monday afternoon. Hurricane Lee is on the radar and they were very busy pulling boats out. But they found the time to help us on short notice. And charged a fair charge. Craig was extremely helpful and clearly loves what he does. We were on a mooring and they have a launch service also.

Marina Response:
Thank you! Good luck with the rest of your trip. I do love my job, but what I don't love is lugging 4-D batteries around. Haha. It wasn't too bad. We have done a lot worse! Craig

Love this place. The town in close. The Marina staff has been great. The launch service is a big help. They do have a dinghy dock. They have a nice courtesy that you can sign up for to get groceries or whatever. We took a mooring. Ours was closest to the opening of the harbor. A little bouncy. Certainly not their fault. There’s a little beach area. Our boat is a 43’ sailboat. Old boat. Not sure if I would want to go on the docks. It’s a tight fit in my opinion. They do raft up boats on docks too. You have to specifically say you don’t, or they assume you do. There’s a boatworks in town also. Really helpful staff.

We stayed 2 nights. Staff was very helpful and very nice! They helped us into our slip, which was a bit of challenge for us be sure we had to back in. The Marina is in the process of remodeling. When it’s done, it’ll be very nice. Right now, it’s a long walk to the laundry room. The showers in the ladies bathroom closest to the docks is VERY exposed. They are by the door and are nit private showers. They are clean - but you’ll definitely be seen by anyone entering the bathroom. There WAS a pool. Which I hope they fix, but doesn’t look likely. The restaurant on-site is awesome! Great happy hour prices. Staff was attentive! There’s a ferry to take to the other side that runs often. Can’t remember the times. The pickup spot for the ferry is a 5-7 minute walk. We had groceries delivered to the Marina also. We really enjoyed our time there!

Thank you Atlantic Highlands Marina for a very enjoyable stay! We are a 43’ sailboat and stayed in your well protected mooring field. Your launch service is excellent! The town is very cute and the hospitality of the yacht club and its members was heart warming. I especially appreciated the quick responses on Dockwa. I love the app! We will be back! We anchored at Rodriguez Key outside the entrance. Marina Del Mar has excellent instructions how to enter and how to radio in. The channel is narrow. The Marina is great! Unground pool. Very new patio/pool furniture. Many comfortable lounge areas. Laundry room. Shower facilities. Tiki bar with pretty good food! Dive shop, dollar store and restaurants are close. Grocery store is a bit further. Not a walkable distance carrying groceries. Office is open until 10 pm. Live music at tiki bar. Staff is friendly. Can’t say enough about this Marina. We loved it!

Mar Marina was a great stop for us. Small Marina. Easy in and out. Dock Staff was extremely helpful. Town was an easy dingy ride away into a really interesting community. Clean. Loved it.

We stayed in Monroe Harbor for 5 nights on a mooring. $43 a night. The view was amazing. We did have an unusually calm and warm week for September. The tenders were efficient and ran u til 11:30 at night. I would stay here again in a heartbeat!
