This marina was a little gem. The dockhands were helpful and we were able to be on an alongside dock, which made docking easy. The facilities are clean and there are great restaurants-one on site, and others within walking distance. Very quiet with nice outdoor space for hanging out or walking dogs. There’s also a pool which we didn’t use.
Ian and the crew are top notch. They really knew what they were doing when we came in during high winds and a strong current. The facilities are nice and convenient to the docks. There are two very good restaurants right off the grounds and a gorgeous park about 1/4 mile away. Town is a short drive away, which is a bit tricky. No Ubers around and sporadic taxi availability. Not walkable. The current was strong when we left at 6am the next morning and our friends got sideways and wedged against three boats. The crew came to the rescue and pulled them off with their workboat. They refused tips offered by our friends. We would stay here again.
The docks are great, the shop, restaurant, and facilities are wonderful, and the crew is top notch. The downside is that we were in the outside wall of the transient dock and got massively waked by boats rushing home after the Beaufort air show. We heard that weekends can be pretty bumpy, but during the week is fine.
Very nice marina with stellar washrooms and showers. Nice laundry and good deckhands. We were only there for a night so didn’t explore the area at all. Not close enough to historic Savannah for walking.
We loved this marina! The staff is amazing - talking about Chris, Chris, and Sam. They’re great at what they do and so friendly. The courtesy golf carts are wonderful and we were able to tour the whole island. The restaurant has great food and the perfect ambiance. Just relaxed and very laid back. We were happy to have ‘bad’ weather the day we were to leave so we could explore a bit more. I would easily stay here for a week if we didn’t have a time schedule.
Great marina with experienced staff. The fairways are really wide, making for easy maneuverability. Facilities are nice and it’s a short walk to a great little town.
Very nice little marina with a friendly staff. The restrooms and showers are clean and the washer/dryer did the job. We bicycled across the bridge to Publix. Great bike path alongside the highway. There was a nice little pavilion with picnic tables for Docktails and lots of sitting space. It’s not a fancy marina but we would stay here again.
The marina is under repair, hence the 3 stars. No pumpout and docks are pretty beaten up. That said, the location is great. We watched a launch from Cape Canaveral, walked to a great restaurant in the beach, and were right next to a great little restaurant and tiny general store. We were wishing we had another day to rent a golf cart to explore the island. The bathrooms and showers were clean and super convenient to our slip. Watch the charts closely coming in. We had no trouble and had plenty of depth. The G1 marker was missing, but we just made allowances for that. There were no employees there (at 4:00pm), but we had other boaters to help us dock.
Very nice marina with very helpful staff. The grounds are beautiful, the restrooms and showers are clean, and the docks are fabulous! Short walk to the best Italian/deli!
Great stay! The restrooms and showers were clean, the laundry (4 washers and 4 dryers!) was awesome, and the staff was great. Nice pool, which we didn’t use. There were free donuts and coffee on weekends, and they held a (free) Christmas dinner for their boaters. The marina is very safe with great security. It was a short walk (about .8 miles) to Publix, and just a couple of blocks further to the wonderful downtown area. Beautiful bike paths and lots of things to do. Don’t miss the Dalà and Chihuly museums!
This is an awesome marina! The facilities are clean and very accommodating. The staff is excellent and very friendly. There are two courtesy cars, a spa and golf carts for rent. We walked to town a couple of times, which is only about a mile away. Everything you need is right here. It’s a great place for a relaxing stay.
