Disappointing for a harbor we generally like, mainly due to lack of communication. Tried to call prior to making reservation one day before arrival - no answer. Texted marina - no response. Went ahead & booked on Dockwa with requests in notes. No slip assignment came over (but payment in full was charged), so called 15 minutes out - no record of us. Turns out staff didn’t enter Dockwa reservation into their system. Docked, and staff comes out to tell us to move - wrong hook-up configuration in slip they gave us. New slip has crap cleat. Had requested proximity to another boat coming in - placed on opposite side of the harbor. No information regarding COVID-19 guidelines on website or given to us at check-in. Turns out you need a reservation to use the pool - which is cool from our point of view, but, even though people weren’t showing up for their reservations, we were told the pool was full and we were unable to access it at all over the weekend. A handout at check-in would have been helpful. On the plus side, we witnessed many safety measures around the harbor, very clean, and more personal responsibility than our home harbor. Still, resident boaters not very friendly on our dock.

We strive to provide boaters with an informative email with check-in details and their slip assignment upon reservation request, and after speaking with the staff, your reservation somehow slipped through the cracks. We have added additional steps in our booking process to ensure this does not happen again. As for the pool, we do include the most recent up to date information on required reservations in a confirmation email upon booking, however this obviously did not help you, given the situation. We will find better ways to inform customers of the most recent safety procedures of our facility.
