For a 4-Star price, we did not receive 4-star amenities. The dock hands were very good and knew what they were doing. They deserve recognition. The slips are wide and the floating concrete docks are GREAT! However, I would like to make the following suggestions for the price charged: Provide clean bathrooms Provide pump shampoo and soap in showers Reduce the price of $5.00 5lb bag of ice Also; to rank against other marinas such as Safe Harbor, Rockland ME, consider providing shower towels. That was an outstanding benefit The marina location is excellent and convenient to all P’Town has to offer. But the slip fee is astronomical. If the marina is going to charge at 4-Star prices, provide 4-Star services.
Safe Harbor Rockland is among the very best Marinas I have had the pleasure of visiting. The location deep in the harbor makes it quite and no wakes to push you around. The dock hands are outstanding. They are truly the best I have worked with. Finally, if you are in need of curtesy car, their’s are clean, new and luxury. CALL OUT TO CHRIS FOR RUNNING A GREAT OPERATION. CANNOT WAIT TO GO BACK. Paul Kramer / Wakely
I recommend Jekyll Harbor Marina. The facilities are great! The bathrooms are clean, the showers are well-maintained. Jekyll Island is a must-stop and the marina has free Golf Cart rentals that allow you to tour the island quickly and easily. Driftwood Beach is a must-see as well. The only issue is that the marina is open to a larger body of water and they tend to tie you up against the outer dock. If you have a North/Northwest the waves push up against your boat and make a lot of noise. But, even with that, I recommend the Marina. Great people, Great golf cart rental, and a very interesting island to visit. Go there! But,
The crew needs more training. Directed us to the outside dock port side tie. The electric station was all the way to the bow. Had to leave the dock and return for a starboard side tie. They should no better or ask. They then ran my power line across the dock and did not have a power cord dock cover to protect it. They drive golf carts at Charleston City dock and ran over the power cord dozens of times. The worst is the damage they may have caused the wires and the line is now filthy. Not a pleasant experience at all.
We stayed at Isle of Hope Marina for five days due to Hurricane/Tropical Storm Nicole. We were on an unprotected dock so when the wind was coming out of the east, we had a lot of wave action hitting the side of the boat making it hard to sleep. That said, the marina is set on a beautiful cove and as it is 4-5 miles inland, it was good protection from the storm. I recommend it if in a big storm situation. They need to work on the internet as 5 days without wifi kills your communications plan, financially. They do offer free loaner cars and that is a great benefit. We used it a number of times to hit Publics and Kroger. The bathrooms were clean and well taken care of. I will stop there again when I bring my boat back in the spring
We arrived at Rock Hall Landing Marina on Thursday, October 27, 2022, and we could not have been treated with more kindness and hospitality. Megan the General Manager and Zach were so kind, considerate, and helpful. They made our simple one-night stay memorable. We look forward to returning to Rock Hall Landing which is also a beautiful marina with gorgeous sunsets. Also, and importantly, the Marina's showers and bathrooms are clean, and private. The staff is doing a great job
Getting right to the point - Half Moon Bay Marina is a wonderful stop along the Majestic Hudson River. The protective wall cuts the current and wakes. Floating docks make it easy to get on and off the boat. Scores of restaurants nearby (I recommend Ocean House Oyster Bar and Grill). Put it on you itinerary!
Enjoyed our stay and the service levels were ideal. Also appreciated the floating docks which make life very easy. Dinner at the Wave was also great - recommended.
Great mooring area in a beautiful field. Highly recommended. Right in town and walking distance to everything.
Great little boat basin right in the middle of town with a very short walk to a beach. No amenities. But, if you are self contained, it is perfect.
Great service and amenities are good. Decent exercise facility and clean showers and bathrooms. Easy stop when cruising east or west on LIS.
Nice marina near everything. I recommend it. However, the bathrooms are a two blocks away. A long walk.
