This is not my first report. I think this facility is the best I have visited in the past four years...my time with a seaworthy boat. I highly recommend a visit if in the area
The facility was fine but when we got there and contacted them for a mooring number, e we got no response on radio and a nice message on phone that they couldn’t come to the phone, so we grabbed a mooring and took the dinghy in to talk to someone. Found out there were only two on staff and they were in and out of the office but the mooring we took would be fine. It is not convenient to town, but the LL Bean shuttle that supports all of MT Desert Island is convenient and can really extend the touring range for someone the stays here. We will be back
Are at the restaurant and loved food, drink service and atmosphere. Pretty cove also. Going back in two days to see what is happening on Sunday evening😎
