First visit for a few years and very impressed the way Strong's manages the marina. The dock was very well staffed with dock hands very willing to help you tie up and cast off. The bathrooms, garbage cans and picnic areas were all clean and well maintained.
Unique solution for cruising in a small boat or center console so I can go fishing at different locations, in this case Montauk. Docked my boat at Townsends and stayed in one of their rooms just steps from where my boat was docked. The docks are newly redone, although slip 31 where I was really just a tie up that blocked in another boat which is all I needed. The hotel is adequate but comfortable with a pool and 15 minute walk to downtown Greenport.
