This was our first visit and we can not be more pleased with this marina. The marina staff understands that marinas are a hospitality business. They went out of their way to make us feel at home there. They had live music and food trucks while we were there but they took measures to make sure social distancing and other covid measures were followed. We will definitely visit again when in the area.
Clean facilities. The bar and food truck (Cooper Bluff) is very popular.
Facilities are far from the drop-off dock which is right next to the ferry dock. The launch service only runs until 10pm on weekdays even on July 3rd before the holiday.
This marina exceeded our expectations. It has all the services you can expect from a full service marina and then some. Clubhouse with swimming pool, two restaurants, a gym and even a micro brewery right on the premises.
Willis Marine Center is a full service marina/yard. The staff is top-notch. We had made reservations for a mooring but after one night, due to problems with our genset, we decided to move to a slip. They had no issue accommodating us at the very last minute and during a holiday week. The marina is walking distance to a great restaurant although the main town is not. We'll definitely come back to visit again.
