Restaurant was great. People were great. But our mooring ball was double booked (as were others), and we had to hunt for another ball. Plus harbormaster wasn't around for another hour or so after arriving at 3pm.
Hello, so sorry to hear you did not have a good experience booking online. From what you've described, it sounds like the boater that was on your buoy (#38) at the time of your arrival ignored the reservation tag and connected to it despite. A situation we're working on correcting and also we can not double book as once the buoy # is reserved, it is no longer available in the system for selection. We also implore you to use the contact information provided on dockwa.com for the Norman Island Moorings, or call the restaurant and they can get the moorings attendant out to assist promptly. Apologies again and had we received contact, it could've been rectified forthright.
