This was our first visit back since Hurricane Ian. They have expanded mooring area now to encompass all the way out to in front of Pink Shell resort. The mooring balls are new so felt very comfortable spending the night out on one during our transit to Key West. Kudos to the friendly staff and the team out at Moss marina who got us out of a jam when boat developed some shift issues after fueling. Great place to stay. Wake from traffic was bearable, but we were there on a Wednesday night off-season, would expect a lot more during a busy weekend.
This marina is in the process of repairing the docs and amenities. I will not judge them on the conditions as they are temporary and are scheduled to commence repairs in February of 2024. The location is fabulous, you are steps away from Englewood beach. Just North is the entrance and parking to the public beach and as you work your way South there are a few access points. We did listen to the music from the restaurant directly across the marina, we loved the music so was a benefit to us, but be aware it will not be "quiet". Jim the dockmaster was very friendly and seemed genuinely happy to see us. They had just installed brand new complimentary washer/dryer combos and there was plenty of free ice in the new icemaker. All in all, will be a great place to visit once they get their new docks installed. In the meantime, understand that they are still recovering from the storm, so give them a break.
Our 4th visit and not our last. Fantastic spot, great fellow boaters and vibe. Frank and Bob were great and made sure we had all our needs tended to. Be aware there is a significant tidal range but you are well protected from wake. Plenty of restaurants within walking distance and a Publix and liquor store a bike ride away.
Absolutely delightful marina. Great location and well maintained. Facilities and staff are all first rate. Special thanks to Darby for finding us a spot on short notice! Will definitely return.
Fantastic marina, easy to approach, and wonderful floating docks. Dockmaster Dave and his assistant Willie are awesome, cater to whatever needs you may have. I will definitely be staying there again. Clean and comfortable showers are available across the street at the very nice Pink Shell resort. As marina guest you have access to beach, pool, and amenities (except complimentary breakfast). Dinner at Rae's was excellent, highly recommend the Sea Bass!
