Galleon is our preferred marina in Key West. They have floating docks, good power and water and give access to the resort facilities including the pool, gym and showers. They provide pump-out service for $10. The sea wall keeps the marina protected from wakes. Like the other marinas in the bite, the proximity to Duval Street is great.
Our stay could not have been better. Everyone and everything at the marina exceeded pour expectations.
Dockmaster Charles I’d helpful and polite. Marina is very closed to the small town. Some of the cleats in all wristlet needed to be re-secured. Great water pressure from the marina supplied hose.
Everyone at the marina with whom we interacted was courteous and professional. Facilities are top notch.
The entire, from the office to the dock, were accommodating, polite and efficient. Location to Boston’ North End and waterfront is convenient and easily walkable. The wooden docks are showing their age.
For over 25 years we have made Cuttyhunk one of our “go to” destinations. We have never been disappointed on the island. It has a very laid back environment. The dockmaster is very accommodating and helpful. Walking around the island is a delight. Make sure to enjoy breakfast at the Fishing club. The fixed docks are not modern but sort of fit the scene. Power and water service are very good. The boaters on the docks are very collegial. The moorings are very well organized and very accessible to the dinghy dock with any tender. There is no launch service. Departing this morning and already looking forward to our next visit.
Greatly appreciated we got a slip at last moment. I did not realize how big the marina is and our slip assessment was way too far away for me to get to shore or the amenities. Very nice Dock hand but needed additional training
Wonderful docks and dock crew. We were at the far end of the dock and could not get a usable Wi-Fi signal.
The marina and its staff have never fail to be a positive experience. It is one of our “go-to” stops in the Chesapeake.
James, the yard manager, is all about providing top quality service and a positive experience. Very helpful and friendly. The fixed docks are very old but Safe Harbor will be replacing them this year with floating ones. Complimentary bikes are available. Proximity to the small town center is easy walk or bike ride.
Quick few days get-away. Everyone at the Boat Basin were accommodating and cordial. Particularly nice that upon arrival we were greeted by name when hailing the dockmaster.
The entire Chick’s crew is committed to customer service. The marina’s location and facility make for an enjoyable stay.
Slip was waiting for us along with a helpful dock hand. Docks and power posts are in perfect condition.
Launch service was exceptional. The facility is top notch. Only comment or suggestion would be that voters that have dinghies are requested to tie them along side of their boat. Our moringa location was rather tight to a sailboat next to us it when he tied his dinghy off the stern the boats got way too close when they were swinging. We will certainly visit this marina again.
Greg was great. He drove us to the grocery store, waited outside until we finished then returned us to the boat. Also, appreciated his phone communications prior to our arrival.
We tied up at approx 4:20 pm and requested to get about 500 gallons of fuel. The doc and had to request permission to start fueling me at that time as apparently management does not want to pay them overtime. One would think that a $1500 purchase could pay for a bit of overtime. Eventually, it was a happy ending and they did get permission to sell me fuel.
