We had a terrific stay at this historic marina. The owner has been making updates, and everything is in very good condition. Friendly staff, beautiful spot, and welcoming locals. Restaurants, galleries, marine supplies in walking distance. 2 miles over the bridge to groceries. Would definitely recommend.
Working boatyard with convenient moorings, a launch and a bunch of very nice people. Walking distance to provisions (full grocery).
Low key, friendly staff, and love the free washer and dryer (which worked fine for us). Not near anything in town, but on a calm day you can find places to tie up. Provisions (an IGA) are not close, so this wouldn't be a place to think of stocking up. Mooring field numbering is... delightfully chaotic? Really our only complaint and not that unusual in our experience.
We picked up a mooring for the day on Dockwa because our overnight got us in sooner than expected, and we couldn't check in to the marina we'd reserved in Boston. Perfect decision. The mooring field is just out of the way enough that you're not bothered by channel traffic, so we had a chance to nap, take a dip and get ready for Boston. If you go ashore, bring shoes--it's a stony beach. And yes, like many mooring fields the numbering doesn't make complete sense, but we figured it out! Looking forward to coming back for an overniht.
