Nice location with easy access. Staff members were very helpful with docking and power set-up. They greeted us with a great swag bag and tips for where to eat, which I always appreciate. I would have given 5 stars if the bathrooms had been cleaned and restocked before the end of the day. I would definitely recommend this spot.
Perfect spot to overnight before continuing west through the canal. Nice people, good pricing and well maintained facilities. Only downside was the long walk to the bathrooms. Seafood Sam's was good for dinner and Greek Caffeina was even better for breakfast.
We stayed here for one week waiting for calmer weather. Our slip was a bit rocky, mostly due to local commercial traffic that didn't seem to care about waking the harbor. The marina was recently taken over by new management. The facilities were nice enough, but could use some upgrades. Close to shops and food. The only thing that isn't close is the grocery. Check out Buoy Park for great food trucks. On Saturdays, the best BBQ in Maine can be found right across the street. Go early because they sell out. Don't miss it.
We enjoyed this location so much, we decided to stay another day. Easy access to the town and nice amenities. We really appreciated the free ice machine. The dockmaster, Kim, was very welcoming and helpful. We highly recommend this spot.
David and everyone at the Miramar Yacht Club are amazing. Easily the warmest welcome we've received since we departed Maine and started cruising south. I would highly recommend this spot to anyone passing through NYC. Their Ensign fleet races on Wednesdays and there's fireworks off Coney Island on Fridays all summer. Check out Roll N Roaster for good food right up the street. As others have said, be sure to check the tides if you draw more than 4 feet. It's quite shallow around Green Buoy #7.
Good location with easy access to the water. We parked our boat here for a few days while waiting for a service technician to maintenance our engine and stayed with family in town. The area around the marina is mostly residential, so having access to a car or using public transportation is required. It's also worth noting that most of Boston is not dog friendly.
We stayed in Rockport for one night on our way to Boston. The harbormaster was very accommodating. When we were unable to book anything else in the area due to the holiday weekend, they made room for us. The town is quite walkable. We highly recommend the Bean & Leaf Cafe for breakfast.
Good location for easy access to the water. We made good use of the courtesy car to check out Portsmouth. Given the price of this location, we expected nicer bathrooms. If you must, I recommend only using the facilities near the parking lot. The Green Bean has nice staff and good food.
Nice, central location for exploring Kennebunk. Be sure to check the tides if you draw more than 4 feet. The amenities were acceptable, but limited. The town is very walkable. We enjoyed Ryan's Corner House Irish Pub and The Pilot House.
Excellent customer service and a beautiful marina. The facilities were new and immaculate. We also enjoyed walking across the street to Bass Pro and Starbucks. Do not waste your time or money at the Boca Oyster Bar. I recommend using a car service to travel to another part of town for dinner.
Affordable and convenient location for an overnight near Newport. We moored here on our trip south and appreciated the launch service so we could explore Jamestown, which would have been a long trip for our dinghy.
Great location to stop before entering or after exiting the East River. We enjoyed the launch service and welcoming staff. The clubhouse is cute, but a little outdated. The men's bathroom is in the basement, which has a very low ceiling. The women's bathroom requires walking up 2 flights of stairs. We loved walking around City Island and had an incredible dinner at the Black Whale. If we ever come back through NYC, we will definitely moor here again.
Great staff, beautiful property and nice amenities. If you draw more than 5ft, I recommend coming in at high tide. The channel into Clinton is very shallow. We read .5ft at one point, about an hour before low tide. We ate at Liv's Dockside Grill right down the street. Good burgers and fries.
Our absolute favorite stop in Maine! Thank you to Pete and his staff for all the accommodations. The courtesy car was a game changer. The facilities were very clean and private. The full-service fuel dock with complimentary pump outs, as well as the boathouse with beer for sale, was always staffed with helpful marina crew. We will be sure to tell anyone heading into Maine that Spring Point Marina in South Portland is a must-stop destination! P.S. There are two delicious places to check out right around the corner. El Corazón Casita is an authentic Mexican restaurant with the best California burrito you can find in Maine. Spring Point Tavern is the perfect hangout spot for reasonably priced drinks and great bar food. Both places are dog-friendly with shaded backyard patios.
